Oh gawd where to start.  What to say.

I suppose first we shall begin with the aesthetics of the film.  The color palette was gorgeous and reminiscent of Sweeney Todd (dreary so that the colors pop right out of the screen).  Granted the movie is rated PG and thus some of the effects are a tad distractingly cartoonish yet to its credit, if you just go ( Read more... )
